AU HISTORY ☼ Born in Nagano, Japan. ☼ His dad really wanted to be a rockstar! They moved to the States to ~*MAKE IT BIG*~ when Eijun was a baby and...ended up owning a farm instead in the middle of nowhere. Total opposite of the rockstar life. ☼ Grew up doing farm chores, catching beetles, skinning his knee, and playing so much baseball with his next door neighbor, some grumpy kid named Okumura (undergrowl: we are apping in together, permission received!) He was always a loud, friendly kid, and got quick, strong and scrappy over the years--his boundless energy has done nothing but help him in the vein of doing chores around the farm. This boy can milk a cow and throw a pitch. ☼ Played little league as a kid, where he became the ace of his local middle school team. ☼ Former teammates with Sousuke Yamazaki (flexer| here) and looked up to him a ridiculous amount because he was so talented. He had a rival in the form of the aforementioned Okumura, who looked up to Eijun as a pitcher...not that Eijun had any idea. ☼ Self-taught player who can be a little, uh, wild. He made frequent visits into Recolle to play travel baseball games, one of which ended sort of infamously. ☼ Scouted into high school at Recolle by the scout for the high school baseball team, who saw potential in a kid who slapped all the people on the Recolle Middle team for making fun of his team for losing. ☼ Apparently he looked like a true ace or something? ☼ Eijun tended to be a pretty good kid in middle school, though: when asked if he was going to apologize to the other players, he did end up laughing in the principal's face, but his general attitude of geniality got him out of it without getting in too much trouble. ☼ Moved to Recolle his freshman year of high school as an exchange student, where he transferred from his country ass middle school to THE BIG CITY. ☼ He was extremely homesick for the first...week or so and called home frequently: he had a rough start with the baseball team and spent the first month of training camp in the spring just...running. ☼ During this time, he was picked up by a Big Brothers/Big Sisters-esque mentoring program, and lives with his (currently unnamed/NPC) mentor. thank god ☼ Spent his first two years in Recolle being loud and obnoxious, training to be A STAR BASEBALL PLAYER (his biggest dream: to play in the MLB!) ☼ In his first year, Eijun went through a period where he felt like he couldn't play anymore, having contracted the yips after hitting another player in a difficult game. It took an angry phone call from Koushuu to set him back in line. By the time we've reached the present, he's gotten over it, but it was a pretty miserable month or two. Luckily, he recovered with aplomb, because... ☼ Before the first tournament the team played in April of his junior year, Eijun was gifted the ace number! ☼ Because he's the ace and an upperclassman, he currently considers himself to be somewhat of a role model and tries to be on his best behavior in school, but "tries" is probably the operating word. He ends up spending a lot of time with delinquents for some reason. ☼ This also leads to a tendency to pick up stray underclassmen and declare them his proteges. He's well meaning about it...really... ☼ Other extracurriculars include the Romance Novel Club. ☼ Koushuu ended up following him by the time Eijun hit his second year: they've become a star battery in their time together at Recolle...though they sure butt heads a lot. The two of them are both the talk of RU to be scouted together to the University. Eijun's only met with a scout once, but everyone knew when it happened because he preened about it for a solid week.
